Triabike is the longest running bike shop in the Coachella Valley, originally started by David O’Donnell 30 years ago in Palm Desert. We provide a full-service offering, picking up and delivering bikes from Palm Springs to La Quinta and Indio and points in between.
We are still the shop that has a local sense of community, with a can-do attitude. Come to stop and watch the mechanics work on your bike or just stop in to talk bike shop.
At Triabike we want to make sure that when you walk out the door you feel you have been treated fairly and with respect, whether you bought something or not.Harry Hoyer
At Triabike it is about you the customer, that is why we do the special things, like rent you new bikes, take trade-ins and sell used bikes. You are why we start sooner in the mornings and close later in the evenings. You are the reason we are open 7 days a week in the winter, and deliver bikes to where you are. We are more than friendly, we know your needs and want to give you real service.
The staff at Triabike are true blue bike shop people. They live and breathe bikes!
Raul has been a bike tech at Triabike since 1998. Some say he is one of the best bike mechanics in the Palm Springs area. When you have to fix it and not just replace it, Raul is your guy. Raul tells us that the customers at Triabike are his family.
Clay is the young strong silent tech. He loves to work on bikes and get them right for you. Like the rest of us riding bike is in his blood.
Manny Started at Triabike in 2001 and has a passion for bikes. He prides himself on his mechanical skill. He is the go-to guy when you have a technical question to want to find something. Manny knows what it is and where to find it. Plus he loves doing his trail rides.
Harry is one of the owners. To Harry, a new customer is just a friend who he hasn’t got to know yet. His goal is to make sure that when you walk out the door at Triabike you feel you have been treated fairly and with respect, whether you bought something or not. He is proud that he was able to ride from Jasper to Banff in the Rockies a couple of times.
Fernando started at Triabike in 2015. It is his “bike Shop”, one that he got to know through his uncle Raul. Fernie is our utility man. He can fix or find you the right bike at the right price and always does it with a cheerful disposition.
Graham is a co-owner of Tri-A-Bike. He has lived part-time in Palm Springs for 18 years with his wife Anna. Graham only cycles with a purpose—exploring, buying groceries or achieving a destination. Come in to talk to Graham about adventure cycling on rail-trails, cycle routes in Palm Springs or how to carry a load on your bike, not your back.
Here is what some of our friends are saying!
Had service done on two bikes. Top notch technical knowledge–fast service and fair prices. Would definitely recommend for service.Robert K.
These guys know their business. I am the farthest thing from a pro biker you can imagine and am a full time local. They have always treated me well and at a fair price for service and repairs.Jay W.
I started riding again a few years back. A friend of mine turned me onto this place, and I’m sure glad he did. As I’ve gotten to know the shop and the guys who work there, I am always impressed by how they go above and beyond to ensure you’re taken care of. To go into a place where they call you by your name and ask you how your riding is going, along with offer you tips and point you to great riding areas, is a rare find these days.Jennifer C.
Top notch shop. Seven of us took a trip to Palm Springs to ride and we shipped our bikes to the shop. The bike techs totally took care of us and caught a minor tech issue. They could not have been nicer.Andy V.
Everything about this place pleases me and Dave was so helpful. I bought my first high-end bike here. From the more than fair price to the detailed fitting to the service on my older bike, I was impressed.Jacqueline M.

The guys at the shop were very helpful. I worked with Raul, David, and Fernando. All were informative and nice. I tried out about 3 different bikes after looking through their selection. They were knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each bike. I ended up purchasing a Giant Liv Alight 2, which was on sale (score!) It was a compromise between the 10 speed from my elementary/middle school days and a cruiser. The cruiser was comfortable, but I liked the look and feel of the Alight 2. They give you a choice between a kickstand or a water bottle holder. Also, they suggest you bring it back in a month to have them check it out. Nice to see they want to service the bike and make sure that all is well long after the purchase!Tammi B.
Tri-A-Bike has been great! We moved to the Desert about 6 months ago, and they were able to make repairs to a Trek bike with a recycled wheel. I did not want to spend too much, and they worked with my budget. I also have an e-bike that they are an authorized dealer. Raul was super great when I brought in a pair of spin cleats that I had purchased online. He added the clips on the bottom, adjusted them for my daughter to her fit and taught me how to properly inflate a tire. Customer service is excellent!Judy H.
I love this place! I got the bike of my dreams! The best part is how great they are with really picky shoppers like me. I told them EXACTLY what I wanted on OMG He had it in the color I wanted for $400 dollars less than I expected to pay! I love the way they let you cruise the store without breathing down your neck! I was so happy my husband ordered the matching straight bar style on Tuesday and we picked it up perfect on Friday! service is excellent!Dawn F.
I was in Palm Desert last February for a week of riding. My Ritchie suffered a few minor indignities in the cargo hold of my air carrier. Not to worry, these guys took care of me on the spot and had me rolling on those silky smooth PD roads. Later in the week, a broken spoke and another ultra quick repair. You guys nailed it. I’ll be back, and you’re my LBS. Oh, and the Sriracha socks…why not?Brett T.
I needed to ship my daughters bike to her in Seattle. Called around to several bike shops and left messages no one returned the call. (I know it is August but come on …peeps are still living here). Called Tri-A-Bike as I have stopped in there several times over the years and they actually answered their phone! Took the bike down the next day, they boxed it and shipped it for a very reasonable price ($45 for boxing + actually shipping charge)…she had it 3 days later. Perfect transaction! Thanks!Nancy E.
I always have a fantastic experience whenever I come in with my daughters bike. Raul, thank you soooo much for installing the bike rack I brought in and as always thank u for such wonderful customer service. I never feel ignored or overlooked when I come in. I am ALWAYS greeted with a hello and a smile. And being a single mom I am always worried about the price. But both you and the newly bearded “hipster” (lolol) are always so fair. Been coming there for years and will continue to… thanks guys a bunch. We adore u!!Kris L.
This shop carries something for everyone. From the neurotic high tech roady to the person looking for a used bike to get them around. They are good mechanics that work on more than just bikes, electric bikes, scooters, etc. They carry quality brands like Canondale and Giant among others. The guys are great. I often show up at 6 o’clock on Friday night and they are always happy to help me out. Great local shop that is wonderful to have in the hood.Reg B.
I dropped in yesterday to ask about a bar end replacement for my rear view mirror. I wrecked it when I replaced the handlebar tape. I figured I’d end up having to buy a whole new mirror, but the guys rooted around for a bit and viola!, they found the exact part! I’ve done business with these guys for a long time and have always found them helpful, quick, and fair priced! Keep up the great work, and thanks for running this great local business in Palm Desert!Jim H.
